TRAM WAYS

Trams may run on the same roads as other vehicles and pedestrians, in these situations the area of road used by the trams may be indicated by being a different colour or texture surface to the rest of the road, it may also be edged with additional road markings.

Remember trams are not able to move out of the way of other road users, they must follow the tracks. As such drivers should be aware of the traffic signs that will be used by trams and the route (swept path) that the trams will take, these should be kept clear.
