When travelling on roads it is possible that you may come across a variety of animals, including wild, domestic and farm animals. There are a variety of road signs that may be displayed to warn of possible animals up ahead:

When approaching any animal it is important to remember that they may scare easily, as such you should:

• Drive slowly and quietly, don’t sound the horn 
• Don’t rev the engine unnecessarily, keep the engine speed low
• Don’t accelerate heavily when alongside or just after passing
• Look out for animals that may step out into the road
• Give animals as much room as you can
